The Band Toto Asia
Toto expanded its production facilities abroad, and doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. North America was seen as an opportunity to grow for Washlet toilets and bidet seats, in contrast to its "base" markets in Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto recorded Toto words to ensure that the future generation could read the words. However, many of the words were being replaced by foreign ones, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.
Origins
The early history of Toto, which began in 1917, mirrored Japan's rapid economic growth. In the first half, Toto produced products to meet the demands for modern, new urban housing. It had the first tunnel kiln in the country that could produce ceramics continuously. It also pioneered automation for production control, allowing greater efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding internationally in the late 1980s to profit from new markets and sales opportunities. It established the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products from other manufacturers to complement its own line of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy helped increase sales and increased the company's market share in the world.
In the late 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development of water-related household appliances. It also redesigned its distribution system to better serve its customers and improve profit. The company employed the same just-in time approach in its supply chain management and sales program. This led to a higher degree of customer satisfaction.
Toto has continued to innovate on the toilet technology. The latest toilet from the company features a powerful, environmentally-friendly tornado flush. The company uses recycled water for its manufacturing process and has a green purchasing policy. In addition to toilets, Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets and hand dryers that are more efficient in terms of energy consumption than standard models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It has exhibitions on the most iconic products of Toto as well as their evolution, group companies (all of which are made of ceramics), the history of plumbing and even bath units. In an additional gallery, you can view Toto products sold all over. The museum even includes a bathroom with a WASHLET toilet as well as other toilet-related innovations.
Before beginning the formation of Toto members of the group did sessions for a variety of musicians. Boz Scaggs album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich and guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather and drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also played on records by Steely Dan, Seals and Crofts, and Sonny and Cher.

Discography
You would expect a group with a name like Asia to be a prog band, but it is actually a relatively straightforward rock band. The group was formed as four members and released two albums that were self-titled in 1979 and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. Although the band have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest breakthrough came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster but not without its difficulties. Record companies put the band on the place with the directive "give us an album that is a success or we'll drop you" and the pressure was on to meet the deadline. Toto was able to achieve this with the help from the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is a result of their previous experience. Before forming the group, the band members were session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their distinctive sound has become the norm for pop music from the 1980s, and has influenced many contemporary artists.
The album begins hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write fantastic AOR tunes that slowly get into your head. The album also features more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations, a song that combines folk with distorted AOR and could sound completely wrong, but actually works amazingly well.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes turned towards the negative. David Hungate left to concentrate on his solo career and the band went through several drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in the wake of drug charges and the band continued as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Toto released Isolation despite the turbulence. It was not as popular as IV. However, the band still had a successful chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the conclusion of the original Toto lineup and was the first album featuring the new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an ode to the classic sextet structure and an even more consistent and powerful effort with a harder edge. Its more punk-rock sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and featured drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability on the drums and an improved, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard skills were also more sophisticated, sharper, and less derivative on previous recordings.
After touring to promote their album, the group recorded the band's Amsterdam live show that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The group released a brand new studio album just a few months after and embarked on a tour around the world to support it. During this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started exploring old tapes and demos for a new album featuring songs that had never been recorded before. The album was released in 2001 and released as a double album titled Then & Now. 토토사이트 순위 was the first album by the band without one single track titled "A". The album also included a previously unreleased track "Kari-Anne".
By 토토사이트 모음 , Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth record, Old Is New was a commercial failure and vocalist Williams was suffering from laryngitis that affected his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes, Wetton Palmer and Howe, the original members of Asia, met in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility that the group could be reformed. This lineup, minus Howe (who was a member of Yes at the time), eventually became known as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also had the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
